Det var stort sett menn som lagde alle disse. Ifølge Letterboxd er det kun to kvinnelig regisserte skrekkfilmer på topp 100 mest populære skrekkfilmer fra 00-tallet. Den første er Jennifer’s Body (2009), som faktisk er den øverste på listen, og den andre mest populære kvinnelige regissøren av 00-skrekk finner vi helt nede på 94-plass med Claire Denis’ Trouble Every Day (2001). Etter denne må vi lete enda lengre ned for å finne flere kvinnelige regissører som ikke deler co-regi med en mann. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/678bc8f56df1605a328c46ab/95e2010a-e576-42b8-8d3e-c2c9abcbd539/IMG_4576.jpg Artikler - Fokus: Kvinnelige skrekkregissører (2000-tallet) - Vi starter likevel med noen av veldig god kvalitet og får unna den med en mann på co-regi: Amer (2009). Det belgiske paret Hélène Cattet & Bruno Forzani har lagd film sammen siden tidlig 00-tallet. De lager ekstremt stilfulle filmer som ofte kaster narrativt plott ut ruta. Deres langfilmer består nå av Amer, The Strange Color of Your Body’s Tears (2013) og Let the Corpses Tan (2017). Strange Color er det mange som gir opp på fordi den er for stilfull til å klare å forstå noe som helst av plottet. Let the Corpses Tan er veldig stilfull og har et simpelt plott som bare er en shoot-out om hvem som kan få en kasse gull, og derfor enkel å følge med på. Amer er den minst stilfulle av dem og mest sammenhengende. Den er likevel veldig mye mer stilfull enn annen film. Denne tilhører sjangeren fransk ekstremfilm og har selvskading som hovedtema. I forhold til mange franske ekstremfilmer som fokuserer på blod og gørr er dette en som går under huden din (hehe) fordi du lærer å kjenne karakteren og forstår hvor lite kontroll hun har over impulsene til å skade og spise seg selv. The Attic (2006), en lavbudsjettsfilm med tidlige roller fra Elizabeth Moss og Alexandra Daddario. Daddarios første filmrolle om du ser bort i fra Noah Baumbachs The Squid and the Whale som “Pretty girl”. Lambert regisserte også Urban Legends: Bloody Mary (2005), den tredje i en filmserie om mord basert rundt urbane legender. Hun har lagd en del skrekkfilmer, ofte basert på spill eller manga. Det hun lagde på 00-tallet består av The Boy From Hell (2004) som er en av seks filmer i en serie basert på mangaer av Hideshi Hino. Dette er blod og gørr, og på godt norsk goop. Hennes andre filmer er Twilight Syndrome: Deadly Theme Park (2008) (også kjent som Dead Go Round) som er den andre av tre filmer basert på det japanske spillet Twilight Syndrome og dets oppfølgere. Disse ble sluppet ekslusivt i Japan, og er sikkert mest kjent i Vesten som en sentral del i det japanske spillet Danganronpa 2 (2012). Henne siste bidrag på 00-tallet er en av to The Grudge-filmer som ble sluppet som en jubileumsfeiring for originalen. Ju-on: Black Ghost og Ju-on: White Ghost, begge fra 2009. Hun hadde skrevet Juno (2007), og av de fire Oscar-nominasjonene filmen fikk var det kun hun som vant for beste manus. På grunn av denne suksessen fikk hun carte blanche og kunne skrive hva hun ville. Det hun da ville gjøre med denne muligheten var å lage en skrekkfilm sentrert rundt jenter, et vennskap mellom jenter og spesifikt en jente som spiser gutter. Dermed Jennifer’s Body. Som noen av dere kanskje allerede har sett foregår denne arkiveringen primært på vår Letterboxd-profil, men vi jobber også med Nasjonalbiblioteket for å arkivere programplakater og kataloger i deres arkiver. Nasjonalbiblioteket har vært svært hjelpsomme med å oppdrive tidligere materiale, men likevel ser vi at vi mangler en del plakater og kataloger fra tidligere år. Målet vårt er å gjøre hele Trondheim Filmklubbs historie tilgjengelig digitalt. I tillegg kan det være at tidligere styremedlemmer har brukt norsk tittel ved annonsering av en utenlandsk film, men uten informasjon om regissør og årstall. Det er kun ett semester vi mangler all informasjon om – våren 1977.
